Day 01

Cochin – Munnar (130 Km)

On arrival at Cochin Airport - You will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your resort in Munnar. Munnar, a hill station located 1600 meters above sea level, was once the summer resort of the British administration in South India. It still retains its colonial charm and is famous for its tea plantations, rolling hills, picture postcard hamlets, and undulating valleys. Check into your resort and unwind.

Day 02

Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit Tea Gardens, Mattupetty Lake, Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, and Rajamalai (home to the endangered Nilgiri Thar mountain goat). Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 03

Munnar – Thekkady (100 Km)

After breakfast, check out from the resort and drive to Periyar, an area known for its undulating hills and spice plantations. Check into your hotel. You may enjoy an elephant ride and cultural programs like Kathakali and Kalaripayattu. Overnight stay at the resort in Periyar.

Day 04

Thekkady – Alleppey (140 Km)

If in Resort: After breakfast, check out and drive to Alleppey – Kerala’s famous backwater destination. Enjoy sights like Alleppey beach, backwaters, and Kuttanadu’s green paddy fields. Overnight stay at resort.

If in Houseboat: After breakfast, check out and drive to Alleppey to board your private houseboat for a backwater cruise. These luxurious ‘Kettuvalloms’ come with bedrooms and bathrooms. Meals are served onboard. You can sunbathe on the deck or enjoy the palm-fringed landscapes from your cabin. Overnight stay on the houseboat.

Day 05

Alleppey – Cochin Departure (80 Km)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. En route to Cochin Airport or Railway Station, you may explore Kochi sightseeing: The Jewish Synagogue in Jew Town, St. Francis Church (the oldest European Church in India), Santa Cruz Basilica (built in 1557 by the Portuguese), Dutch Palace, and 15th-century Chinese fishing nets. Evening drop at Cochin Airport / Railway Station.

Important Notes:

  • A/C rooms are not provided in Munnar and Thekkady due to low temperatures (except in premium/luxury hotels).
  • All sightseeing will be covered as per travel timing.
  • All monuments remain closed on Mondays.
  • Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park) will be closed during February, March & April due to goat breeding season.
